Itinerary
The first stop is the impressive Taichung Aquarium, Taiwan’s newest marine attraction. Here, you can explore immersive exhibits that take you from rivers and wetlands to vast ocean environments, with highlights including penguins, jellyfish, coral displays, and giant ocean tanks filled with sharks and rays. It’s a must-visit destination for both families and marine life enthusiasts.
After the aquarium, the tour continues to the Chun Shui Tang Original Store (春水堂 創始店), the birthplace of bubble milk tea. This is where Taiwan’s world-famous drink was first created, and visitors can enjoy an authentic meal paired with freshly made bubble tea.
Next, stroll through the colorful Painted Animation Lane, where beloved anime and cartoon characters are brought to life on vibrant murals — the perfect spot for photos and a taste of Taichung’s artistic side.
Next, explore the Taichung Station Railway Cultural Park, centered around the beautifully preserved 1917 red-brick train station — now a cultural hub featuring vintage locomotives, restored platforms, and charming cafés housed in old train carriages. You can even ride a miniature train around the site or browse unique shops inside the carriages.
Wrap up your Taichung visit with dessert at Miyahara, famous for its luxurious ice cream and traditional treats, followed by a stop at the nearby Fourth Credit Union, another iconic dessert spot operated by the same brand — offering rich flavors in a stylish, vintage bank atmosphere.

- Customers can select their preferred pick-up and drop-off locations. Locations outside Taipei city center may incur additional fees.
Luggage Allowance:
- 5-Seater Vehicle: Up to 2 pieces of 28-inch luggage (larger items will be counted as two pieces)
- 9-Seater Vehicle: Up to 6 pieces of 28-inch luggage (larger items will be counted as two pieces).
- If the number of luggage items exceeds the vehicle’s capacity, the driver reserves the right to refuse service, and no refund will be provided.
Car Seats:
- As per Taiwan regulations, children aged 0-4 must use a car seat.
- 5-Seater Vehicle: Comes with 1 car seat at no extra cost.
- 9-Seater Vehicle: Includes 1 car seat for free; an additional car seat can be provided for a fee of TWD300.
Additional Costs (to be paid in cash directly to the driver on the day of service):

- TWD800: Yangmingshan (Back Mountain), Wanli (Yehliu), Jinshan, Wulai, Shifen, Jinguashi, Jiufen, Hou-tong, Pingxi, Ruifang, Shimen, Pinglin, Shuangxi, Sanzhi.
- TWD1,000: Gongliao, Taoyuan City Center, Taoyuan International Airport (pick-up/drop-off).
- TWD1,200: Zhongli.
- TWD1,400: Westin Tashee Resort, Leofoo Village, Great Roots Forest Spa Resort.
- TWD1,600: Hsinchu City Center, Jiaoxi, Luodong, Toucheng.
- Drop-Off in Taichung: The total tour duration will be reduced by 1.5 hours with no additional surcharge
- For locations not listed above and outside of Taipei city center, customer service will contact the customer to provide the fee details.
Rescheduling, Cancelations and Refunds
If you need to cancel or reschedule the activity for any reason, please contact us via email at info@getmetotaiwan.com. If you have any other questions, feel free to get in touch.
Cancelations made 48 hours or more prior to the departure time will be fully refunded.
Cancelations made less than 48 hours prior to the departure time will not receive refunds.
Full refunds will be provided for cancellations due to force majeure events, such as natural disasters, wars, or strikes.
In the event of a typhoon, if the government announces a suspension of work and school, all bookings will be automatically canceled, and full refunds will be issued.
