Culture Museum at National Center for Traditional Arts.

The National Center for Traditional Arts (NCFTA) in Yilan is a sprawling riverside cultural park that preserves Taiwan’s heritage through vibrant temple-style architecture, traditional craft workshops, and live folk opera performances.

Jimmy Park is a whimsical art installation in Yilan that brings the vibrant illustrations of famous picture book author Jimmy Liao to life through colorful statues and life-sized scenes from “The Starry Starry Night” and “Turn Left, Turn Right.”

The Yilan Literary Museum is a tranquil, Japanese-style timber residence.

Jiaoxi Hot Springs is a rare lowland geothermal destination in Yilan, famous for its clear, odorless sodium bicarbonate waters and a town center filled with public foot soaks and luxury hot spring resorts.

    • Chinese & English-speaking driver (your driver will provide basic commentary and assist you throughout the journey, though they may not accompany you inside certain attractions)
    • Driver’s meal allowance, fuel, parking fees, and toll fees.
    • 5-seater car/9-seater car (according to the number of participants)
    • Liability insurance for passengers in the car is TWD2 million
  • What’s not included
    • Personal meals and expenses. 
    • Gratuities (given according to personal satisfaction with the driver, not mandatory)

  • 9-seater vehicles (Suitable for 1-8 passengers): Volkswagen T6 or T5, Hyundai Starex, Ford Tourneo, or equivalent
Operating Hours:
  • Standard Hours: 07:00 – 21:59
  • Night Hours: 22:00 – 06:59 (Nighttime Surcharge: TWD1,000 applies if either pick-up or drop-off occurs during this time).
  • Chinese New Year Holiday (Feb 14 – 21, 2025): Regular service is not available.
Pick-up & Drop-off Locations:
  • Customers can select their preferred pick-up and drop-off locations. Locations outside Taipei city center may incur additional fees.
Luggage Allowance:
  • 5-Seater Vehicle: Up to 2 pieces of 28-inch luggage (larger items will be counted as two pieces)
  • 9-Seater Vehicle: Up to 6 pieces of 28-inch luggage (larger items will be counted as two pieces).
  • If the number of luggage items exceeds the vehicle’s capacity, the driver reserves the right to refuse service, and no refund will be provided.
Car Seats:
  • As per Taiwan regulations, children aged 0-4 must use a car seat.
  • 5-Seater Vehicle: Comes with 1 car seat at no extra cost.
  • 9-Seater Vehicle: Includes 1 car seat for free; an additional car seat can be provided for a fee of TWD300.
Additional Costs (to be paid in cash directly to the driver on the day of service):
  1. Overtime Fees:
    • 5-Seater Vehicle: TWD300 per 30 minutes
    • 9-Seater Vehicle: TWD350 per 30 minutes
  2. Nighttime Surcharge: TWD1,000 for pick-up/drop-off during 22:00 – 06:59 
  3. Pick-Up/Drop-Off Locations Outside Taipei City Center:
    • TWD300: Beitou, Tienmu, Yangmingshan (Front Mountain), Xizhi, Shenkeng, Xindian, Xinzhuang, Banqiao, Songshan Airport (pick-up only).
    • TWD500: Tamsui, Yingge, Linkou, Sanxia, Shulin, Shiding, Keelung City/Port, Taisan, Wugu.
    • TWD800: Yangmingshan (Back Mountain), Wanli (Yehliu), Jinshan, Wulai, Shifen, Jinguashi, Jiufen, Hou-tong, Pingxi, Ruifang, Shimen, Pinglin, Shuangxi, Sanzhi.
    • TWD1,000: Gongliao, Taoyuan City Center, Taoyuan International Airport (pick-up/drop-off).
    • TWD1,200: Zhongli.
    • TWD1,400: Westin Tashee Resort, Leofoo Village, Great Roots Forest Spa Resort.
    • TWD1,600: Hsinchu City Center.
    • Boarding or disembarking in Yilan: The total trip duration will be reduced by one hour, and no additional charges will apply.
    • For locations not listed above and outside of Taipei city center, customer service will contact the customer to provide the fee details.

Rescheduling, Cancelations and Refunds

If you need to cancel or reschedule the activity for any reason, please contact us via email at info@getmetotaiwan.com. If you have any other questions, feel free to get in touch.

Cancelations made 48 hours or more prior to the departure time will be fully refunded.
Cancelations made less than 48 hours prior to the departure time will not receive refunds.

Full refunds will be provided for cancellations due to force majeure events, such as natural disasters, wars, or strikes.

In the event of a typhoon, if the government announces a suspension of work and school, all bookings will be automatically canceled, and full refunds will be issued.
